Lea Michele has made sure Cory Monteith is always close: she’s got herself a tattoo in honor of her ex-boyfriend and former Glee co-star.

Michele got the No. 5 inked into the side of her ribcage as a constant reminder of the late, popular actor.

She Instagrammed her new ink with the caption, “And one more. for my Quarterback.”

Anyone familiar with the series will know No. 5 adorned the back of Finn Hudson’s football jersey at McKinley High.

Monteith played the jock from 2009 until his untimely death in July 2013 after a drug overdose at the age of 30.

The Scream Queens star recently discussed the social media backlash from fans she’s endured through after she started a relationship with Matthew Paetz about a year after Monteith’s death.

“I love my fans. They’re incredible and they were really a part of my whole story and my whole journey with me, so I do come from a place of understanding, but it’s also really hard,” she said in a Fempire podcast.

“You know, every time I post a picture, then it’s just a landslide of comments that talk about my past and bring that up rather than projecting positivity.”

She went on, “And even though, you know, I don’t think anyone is really projecting hate – it is positive, it’s nothing so, so terrible – but at the end of the day, we have to remember that what we put out t, it manifests and it creates energy and you should want to be the person that chooses to take that second to do something positive.”
