CeeLo Green’s been a model citizen, and a sober one at that, for the last 19 months … so his probation officer is asking the judge to cut him some major slack.
According to docs filed by the PO … CeeLo exceeded the 360 hours of community service required – spending 275.5 hours at MusiCares Foundation, and 94 hours with Volunteers of America-Veterans Center.
The docs also show he’s peed clean urine in 10 drug and alcohol tests while attending all 52 AA meetings … as the court ordered.
The singer also earned glowing reviews from his therapist.
He got 3 years probation for his no contest plea to furnishing ecstasy to a woman he was on a date with in 2012.
His PO wants to shift CeeLo to informal probation – which means he still has to be on his best behavior, but does NOT have to check in with the probation office.
