CeeLo Green decided to wear a very quirky outfit for his day out in Washington DC on Wednesday.
The 42-year-old singer wore a matching leather outfit and black trainers, a very similar look to the giant bin bag Missy Elliot donned for her Super Dupa Fly music video back in 2009.The Crazy musician walked hand in hand with his fiancée Shani James who was also dressed in all black.
She wore a leather style dress and a long furry black coat.
CeeLo is in town for the Gershwin Prize Awards at Constitution Hall.Awarded annually by the Library of Congress, the Gershwin Prize has become one of the leading honors recognizing popular-music songwriting.
CeeLo got engaged to longtime girlfriend earlier this year in October.
‘It was just a typical night at the studio, but then again, not so typical cause I did something extra special, out of the ordinary,’ CeeLo said.
‘I went and purchased a ring that we had seen together, maybe four or five months or so prior.
I went back and purchased the ring and I just kind of had it stashed away in some old equipment.
