Even in an ever-growing digital age, the cover of Sports Illustrated can still make an impact and generate conversation in the sports world and beyond.

If a report from US Weekly is true, the cover of SI is about to stir things up again.

The magazine reports that Caitlyn Jenner will pose nude on the cover of Sports Illustrated to mark the 40th anniversary of Jenner’s world record setting decathlon win at the 1976 Montreal Olympic Games.

Bruce Jenner was a star and got the cover os Sports Illustrated magazine after winning the decathlon at the 1976 Olympic Games.

Jenner appeared on the cover of SI and on a Wheaties box after winning gold in 1976.

Sports Illustrated has not confirmed the planned cover shoot with Jenner.

Jenner revealed her transition last year on the cover of Vanity Fair.

Jenner wrote in a August 2015 blog post that she had been hesitant in the past to display her “Most prized possession” at the bottom of her makeup drawer.

“I never wanted my kids to feel like they had to have a gold medal in order to be considered a success.”I didn’t want them to constantly compare their own achievements to my time in the Olympics, so I haven’t displayed my medal.
