“Dancing With the Stars” season 21 winner Bindi Irwin may have just inspired American Girl’s 2016 Doll of the Year.
According to Seventeen, the 10-year-old doll named Lea Clark is a self-confessed animal lover.
Lea will star in an action movie, as well as a series of books, entitled, “Lea Dives In,” “Lea Leads the Way” and “Lea and Camila.” The book are written by author Lisa Yee.
American Girl teamed up with the World Wildlife Fund in creating a year-long fundraising campaign to help support the organization.
As of late, American Girl has already donated $50,000 to the World Wildlife Fund to kick start the campaign.
The company will also donate an additional $1 for every purchase of at least one of three plus animals included in Lea’s collection.
In other news, American Girl didn’t exactly pattern Lea from Irwin.
