The singer was hospitalized Thursday, Feb. 11, 2016, because of complications from oral surgery.
PALM SPRINGS, Calif. – Singer-songwriter Barry Manilow was taken to a Los Angeles hospital Thursday after suffering complications from a surgery he underwent earlier in the week, according to his Facebook page.
The 72-year-old entertainer underwent emergency oral surgery Monday, Manilow’s management team said in a statement.
Manilow is in the midst of his One Last Time tour, which he has said will be his last tour.
The Facebook statement was unclear on whether Manilow would be well enough to attend Monday’s Grammy Awards in Los Angeles.
Celebrities such as Arrow star John Barrowman, who, like Manilow lives in California’s Coachella Valley, tweeted well-wishes.
