Dave Chappelle treated one of his comedy tour dates as a party for his Netflix premiere.

At least that’s what Dave Chappelle did Monday night before the midnight premiere of his two Netflix shows.

Chappelle made jokes different from the ones in his Netflix specials: about the presidential election, the legacy of Emmett Till and how he’s both nervous and excited about his shows premiering.

Nervous about how he’ll be received – something his son isn’t sympathetic about – and excited to get a death threat as a result of their airing, like his friend Amy Schumer did with her recent Netflix special.

Chappelle acknowledged guest Kanye West as he launched into a bit about meeting with President Trump, who the comic said is “The lie that will save America.” Chappelle addressed Kendall Jenner before commenting about the transgender community and warning that he does talk about Caitlyn Jenner in his Netflix special.

Chappelle continues his comedy tour Tuesday with dates in Texas.

His specials, Dave Chappelle: Deep in the Heart of Texas and Dave Chappelle: The Age of Spin, are currently streaming on Netflix.
