The Voice producers have already confirmed that Miley Cyrus will be sitting out Season 12 of the NBC show and returning for Season 13, and rumors about what the coaching line-up for the Fall 2017 round of shows will look like have been swirling ever since.
A slew of The Voice fans have taken to social media in recent weeks to speculate on who they’d like to see sit alongside Cyrus on Season 13, fueled by rumors claiming that Adam Levine, Blake Shelton, and Gwen Stefani could all potentially sit out Cyrus’s upcoming season due to an alleged nasty feud on The Voice set.
NBC have already confirmed that Miley will be replaced by returning coach Gwen Stefani for Season 12 of The Voice, meaning Adam, Blake, and Alicia Keys will all be staying put for the first half of 2017, but it looks like almost all of the panel could look different going forward, as some familiar faces could potentially be back for Season 13.
Despite Adam and Blake appearing on every single season of the NBC singing show before, rumors are swirling that Levine and Shelton may not return after the next season of The Voice as Radar Online recently reported that the two are allegedly “Highly considering” quitting together after Season 12 alongside Shelton’s girlfriend Gwen Stefani.
The site’s The Voice source then went on to allege that things had gotten so bad between Cyrus and Levine that “Adam does not really want to return if they bring Miley back,” and his supposed hesitation to sit alongside Miley again on The Voice may also have spread to Blake.
“Both Adam and Blake feel that they have run their course as judges,” The Voice source then alleged amid the quitting rumors, claiming that the duo could leave the show with Gwen after what could potentially be their final appearances as The Voice coaches in the first half of 2017.
According to The Voice insider, Cyrus has been feeling “Like it’s a boys’ club and that she’s all alone” on The Voice set amid the alleged feud, suggesting Miley may not have been getting along with both Blake and Adam.
The alleged feud has never officially been confirmed by the coaches, though Stefani is also rumored not to have seen eye to eye with Miley after she joined The Voice and sat alongside Shelton, Stefani’s boyfriend of over a year, earlier this year.
